Pensacola, Florida (January 14, 2020) - Lighthouse Health Plan is celebrating its first year in operation with an open house scheduled for January 28, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at their headquarters, 700 East Gregory Street in Pensacola, Fla.
On February 1, 2019, Lighthouse officially launched a new, local way of thinking about Medicaid health care and the role of health plans in our communities. As a doctor-led Medicaid health plan based in the Florida Panhandle, Lighthouse has grown by 17 percent, from 25,574 to 30,021 members in its first year.
Lighthouse Health Plan Announces Release of Additional Expanded Benefits
Pensacola, Florida (November 14, 2019) – Lighthouse Health Plan announced today that there will be a state-wide Medicaid Open Enrollment Period, a time in which Medicaid recipients may change health care plans without a state approved "good cause" reason. According to the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA), the state agency that manages the Florida Medicaid program, plan changes will need to be made by the last day of the open enrollment period for the enrollee’s region.
